Margate Film Festival Screening: Bugs on Film at Crab Museum
Join Worm Factory and The Crab Museum in the crustacean invertebrate collaboration of the century, for a special screening of Bugs on Film!
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to stay at a hotel run by spiders, been curious about the scandalous lives of beetles behind close doors, or wanted to take a trip to a miniature zoo, this is your chance! We’ll be screening a selection of bug-themed shorts including The Cobweb Hotel (1936), Insect Zoo (1950), and The Cameraman’s Revenge (1912), preparing you for the Roger Corman feature finale, Attack of the Crab Monsters (1957).
WHEN: Friday 28 November, 7pm-8:30pm.

Outside the Lines: Art x Sport Sessions with Defiant Sports
A weekly group combining sport and art into one creative ball of fun and self-expression. Expect activities like painting by throwing darts at balloons full of paint, stop motion, zine making, photography and more!
These sessions are run in collaboration with Defiant Sports, a not-for-profit providing accessible and inclusive sports across Sussex.

A film screening and fundraiser of Is There Anybody Out There? in Eastbourne on a sensory bus, raising money for Defiant Sports to help them build the first fully accessible sports centre in Sussex.

A stop motion workshop teaching people the basics of stop motion animation, and apps they can use to create for free. Followed by a screening of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010).

An opportunity to collage your alter-ego, using various magazines and word prompts, followed by a screening of Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022).

Storytelling & Worldbuilding: Creating a World People Don’t Want to Leave (Talk)
A presentation exploring how to create a story that draws people in, and a world that they don’t want to leave. Part of Games Fest 2025 at White Rock Theatre, Hastings.
